| Trudy |
Trudy joined Chocolart right at the beginning. Chocolate has been in her blood since her father had a sweet shop when she was a child so it has always been part of her life! She trained as a librarian and worked in various publishing houses. She has 2 children and while bringing them up, transcribed tapes at home. She has always enjoyed domestic things – sewing, knitting, cooking – and makes the Chocolart Birthday cakes! She's also a keen gardener and and plants the Chocolart window boxes. As well as these hobbies, her other passion is art and she will travel as far as Paris to see an exhibition she is interested in. To keep fit she cycles and has already cycled from Redhill to Paris. This summer she will be cycling from Redhill to Copenhagen to raise funds for the Redhill YMCA. |
Sue |
Sue has been at Chocolart since the start but has many other interests. She discovered patchwork quilting a few years ago and has made a patchwork quilt by hand and meets up regularly with a group of like minded people. She is keen on walking, card making and has painted on tiles. She also volunteers at Reigate Community Centre and helps with reading at a local school. Sue is also a member of East Surrey Operatic Society and The Opera Club of Reigate and Redhill where she performs in musicals at The Harlequin Theatre, Redhill. www.esos.org.uk . When not doing all the above she manages to find time to go to her holiday apartment in the Costa Calida, Spain. |

I have been working at Chocolart since September 2011, the job has suited me perfectly as I love working with people, putting a smile on peoples faces and I find it hard to sit still so the fast pace we work suits me well. Outside of working and finishing my A levels, I am a keen athlete, I rarely leave the gym, and if not there, racing long distance on the track or cross country, representing Epsom and Ewell and Tadworth and newly representing southern England. Possibly the greatest highlight of my running career was the Reading Half Marathon, in which i was able to forget the competitive side of being an athlete and enjoy fundraising and the atmosphere. I hope to lead on to study International Hospitality Management, inspired purely from working at Chocolart. |

for the excellent medicinal properties of the precious cocoa bean,
whilst awaiting the world’s first solely chocolate-based diet to be
announced! |

When she's not working at Chocolart she enjoys catching up with friends and doing a range of different sports.
